To make caramel apples, one must first heat up(加熱) some caramel. Once it becomes a liquid(液體), put a stick into one the end of an apple and roll(滾動) it around in the hot(熱的), gooey(軟黏的) caramel.
The caramel-cover apples(覆蓋著焦糖的蘋果) is then rolled onto a plate(盤子) full of nuts(堅果) or other sweets to make it taste even more delicious.
People who have Halloween(萬聖節) parties sometime make their own caramel apple and decorate(裝飾) them with marshmallows(棉花糖) to make them look like ghosts(鬼怪) or jack-o-lanterns(傑克燈籠,南瓜燈).
